Pyramid Workshop Info

On Thursday, October 18 all Chorus students will be participating in our annual Chorus Pyramid Workshop which includes 6th and 8th grade students from our pyramid elementary and middle schools.

All of the pyramid school principals fully support this workshop as it meets curriular strands on a county, state, and national level.

This year the workshop is on a green day. Students will report to the theatre at 9:40 AM (second part of Seahawk Seminar). Our students will be doing performance for the pyramid students and our Chorus Officers will be leading a Spirit bootcamp session. The workshop will end at 1:30 PM. Students will be sent back to 8th period with a pass at the completion of the workshop.

All students:

• Must complete and return the attached permission slip and teacher sign off form (also available on Blackboard) by Friday, OCTOBER 12.
• Will bag their lunch that day. Students who are on free or reduced lunch must let me know by Friday, October 12 so I can prearrange their boxed lunch with the cafeteria.
• Will wear their chorus t-shirt for the workshop.
• Will receive a concert grade for their participation in the workshop.

All of this information was delivered in classes last week along with hard copies of the permission slip and pre-arranged absence form. Please remind your child to have you sign their permission slip.
