Come join us for the Kick-Off Fundraiser, organized and promoted by the Chorus Mentoring Executives, this Thursday 4-9 pm and support SLHS Chorus Department!

It is vital that all members of the advanced choirs participate in the trip in order for this trip to be truly an exciting and valuable experience for our students.

The survey includes the key information for your consideration.   Please complete it ASAP and help us make a decision whether or not to proceed with planning for the trip.

Chorus Uniforms

Uniform Fitting/Exchange for Returning Students

This Wednesday, 9/19 – 9:25-11:25 am in Chorus Room/Girls Dressing Room

We do have gowns and tuxedo components in various sizes in inventory. Returning students who need a new uniform should come to this special session to be re-fitted.  Students should bring in their old uniforms, recently dry-cleaned and with plastic still on it for a potential exchange.

Options:

  1. If you find a uniform in inventory that works for you, we can offer that uniform as an exchange when you turn in your old uniform (dry-cleaned and still in plastic.)
  • Exchanges will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If alterations are necessary, you will need to arrange and pay for the service yourself. (See the information under New Students/Uniforms on our website.)

SLHS Chorus Course Materials fee: $125 (Required for All Students)

All payments are to be made through MySchoolBucks on the SLHS Webpage.  Link: My School Bucks

SLHS Uniform Fee (New Students)

  •  Information for both New & Returning Students can be found on our newly-designed website: Uniforms Page
  •  The Uniform Fee is separate from the Course Materials Fee and is a one-time fee for all new students.

Gowns:

  • One-time fee of $75 for new female students (include gown, garment bag & knee highs)
  • All female uniforms (Gowns) will be ordered through South Lakes High School.
  • Payments can be made online through MySchoolBucks.
  • How to pay for gown:
  1. Login to MySchoolBucks
  2. Go to “School Store”
  3. Click on “Browse All Items”
  4. Select “Choir Uniform Dress”
  5. Select your student’s name, which will be the only name you will see
  6. Add to the Basket, Check-out, and Pay

Tuxedos: 

  • One-time payment of $150.52 (new price) for new male students for a full tuxedo (jacket, pants, shirt, vest, and bow tie.)
  • All male uniforms (Tuxedos) will be ordered through Metropolitan Formalwear at Fair Oaks Mall.
  • Students need to take care of fittings and payment directly with the vendor.
  • Full payment or minimum half down is required at the time of fittings.

Free and Reduced-price Meal Applications:

  • Free & reduced-price meal applications – complete online or submit a handwritten, paper application for this school year.
  • Electronic meal applications are available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Filipino, French, and Vietnamese.
  • Applications now include a designated section with the consent to share information for other programs.
  • Paper applications must be the original red print forms.
  • Copied application forms cannot be accepted.
