Attire requirements for the Disney Performances

Important: Wear your pants, socks, & shoes for the Disney Performances for the first rehearsal so that we can confirm you have the correct style and colors.

  1. Chorus Polo Shirt – We will provide this
  2. Full Length Black Dress pants
    • Boys: SLHS Chorus Tuxedo Pants
    • Girls: Full-Length Black Dress Pants (Example: Target Women’s Bootcut Pants)  No leggings, athletic wear, or jeans!
  3. Black Dress Socks/Knee Highs
  4. Black Dress Shoes or Closed-toe Solid Black Shoes (No sandals, flip flops, sneakers, or athletic shoes)

PCA Membership Campaign Update

Membership/Fundraising Goal: Our overall goal for fundraising is $25,000 for the year. Here are three ways we can raise money!

Friends and Family (F&F) Campaign Update: We will be asking the students to gather their list of email and physical addresses to send emails/letters throughout November. Info coming soon!

Urgent Need for Parent Volunteers

Gown Alterations – Get your Uniform Ready for Winter Concert!

Students must arrange/pay for alterations themselves and make sure their gowns are ready before the winter concert on 12/18.

  • If you have not picked up your gown yet, please do so ASAP. (Everybody’s gown needs to be altered.)
  • If you have not made payment for gown, please do so through MySchoolBucks ASAP.
  • A list of approved Alterations Services & Specific Instructions is provided with the gowns.  The cost of alterations is around $25 -$50.

All Chorus Forms & Fees – Due Immediately

FORMS Update as of 11/2/2019:  Of the 157 students currently enrolled in SLHS Chorus,

  • 112 (or 71%) students have turned in all required forms 
  • 26 (or 17%) students have not turned in any of the required forms to date
  • 19 (or 12%) students have turned in some of the required forms

URGENT: If you have received email notification(s) regarding your student’s missing forms but still have not turned in these forms, please complete and send them in without farther delay.

Hard copies of the forms are available if you need them.

FEES: Any outstanding fees should be paid through MySchoolBucks ASAP.

  • South Lakes HS Chorus Course Materials Fee: $160 for All Students
  • Choir Gown Fee: One-time payment of $75 for All New Students and those returning students who need a replacement
Important Information about Fees

If you receive free/reduced lunch AND have submitted the Consent to Share Form, the county will waive and pay your course and/or uniform fees. See Consent-to-Share-Info for details.

If you are not receiving free/reduced lunch but would like to budget Course Fee payment or Gown payment, you can complete Chorus Financial Aid/Payment Plan Form

Choral Arts Society of Washington Youth Choir

The ensemble is comprised of 9th grade 12th grade “all-star” singers from area high schools.  Now, it is looking to expand the scope of the group and extending an invitation to our Chorus students.
