FBI’s Future Agents in Training (FAIT) Program
At Washington D.C. Field Office (WFO) – August 3-7, 2020
The FBI’s Community Outreach Program is canvassing for eligible high school students interested in attending the Future Agents in Training (FAIT) program.
FAIT is an interactive course that provides high school students (ages of 16-18) with the opportunity to receive an inside glimpse of the FBI:
- The mission and priorities of the FBI
- WFO’s five divisions:
- Criminal
- Counter-terrorism
- Intelligence
- Counterintelligence
- Mission Services
- Introduction to the Special Agent, Intelligence Analyst, & other Professional Staff positions and their job duties
- Future internship/career opportunities
- Hands-On activities, such as:
- Investigative tactics
- Evidence collection
- Interviewing skills
- Analyzing information
- Quantico field-trip day
- FBI Headquarter tour
Many FAIT graduates have later become FBI interns during their college summers and/or full-time employees upon college graduation.
To apply, students must:
- Reside in DC or Northern Virginia (Maryland residents must apply through Baltimore Division’s Teen Academy)
- Be between 16-18 years old
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Be a U.S. Citizen.
The application includes two short essay questions:
