Broadway Night 2020 – Audition Update

Our Broadway Night theme for 2020 is Songs of Disney! 

Update – Sept 8, 2019

Auditions will be held after school on Sept 24, 25 and 26.

Please sign up for a slot to audition for Broadway Night.  Please try to sign up for Tuesday or Wednesday.  We will try to save Thursday for makeup auditions or individuals who absolutely cannot make it on Tuesday or Wednesday.  If none of the dates work, please contact Mrs. G.

For those of you who are new to the program: Broadway Night is a musical theatre intensive offered to students in grades 5-12 who are part of the South Lakes High School Pyramid. Students have the opportunity to work with professional vocal coaches, theatre coaches, and musicians on scenes from a variety of Broadway shows. Through this intensive students learn audition technique, dance, acting, musicianship, characterization, and professionalism in the performing arts.  

Our team has been busy planning for our show throughout the summer and we have the audition tracks ready for you to begin preparing! Auditions this year will be September 24, 25, 26. Times for those dates are to be determined (they will run after school) and we will organize auditions with a Sign Up Genius in the first weeks of school.  A musical theatre audition workshop will also be embedded into Chorus classes in September. 

Get a head start: select your audition piece and begin practicing!  There are a couple of options for each voice part and a demo track is included. Choose the song that works best for your voice. Use the google link below:
